ANNUAL MUSHING CLINIC
This weekend event is an opportunity to have hands-on mushing training from some of California's top dog drivers & trainers!
You will receive one-on-one personalized training in teaching your dog the basics of pulling in harness, how to safely experiment with different types of equipment (sled, carts, scooters, etc.) and have the opportunity to experience working with trained dog teams in action! Plus group mini seminars to learn even more! All of this is followed up by a wonderful dinner and a chance to mingle amongst everyone for chance to get to know them better.
We supply the equipment - you supply the dogs! All breeds welcome!
COST:
NOVICE $160 per person (includes Saturday night dinner)
Bring a 2nd team member to train with you for an additional $80!!!!!
NEW! ADVANCED $210 per person (includes Saturday night dinner)

FUN RUNS
Our Fun Run Events are informal low key gatherings.
They are free and unstaged.
We all usually just meet at the site of each event and hook up our teams to practice passing other teams and help beginners out with friendly advice.
We generally try to have 1-3 of these events each fall for experience in a race type environment to prepare for the upcoming race season.
These are great opportunities especially for young dogs to learn social skills being around other people and lots of other dogs.

SNDD MEETINGS
Our meetings are held in various locations every 3-4 months.
Sometimes in conjunction with a current event.
Lunch is provided free to all attendees.
You do not need to be a member to attend but hopefully afterwards you might decide to join our small but dedicated group of people striving to keep our club and this wonderful sport alive for generations to come!
